Dave Raymond is the founder and owner of Sweet Baby Ray’s Catering, named after the famous barbecue sauce that he created. Chicago is our home and our inspiration. We are a full service event catering company specializing in farm-to-table new American cuisine, including our spectacular barbeque dishes and phenomenal grilled meats. All of our food is made from scratch using inspired recipes that feature local and organic ingredients.

We are proud to support local farmers, so our short growing season means that every herb and tomato, every cherry and apple is a cause for celebration. Year round, we work with local farmers that raise animals for meat and dairy in a sustainable way. Every dish from the Sweet Baby Ray’s kitchen tastes delicious and is good for the earth.

In creating our menu offerings, we take great care to also provide a wide variety of delicious vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free dishes to accommodate all tastes and special diets.
